I contacted them about a renovation to my back yard. The response was quick very courteous. They were quickly able to arrange an inspection of my property and had a quote to me within an hour after leaving. When the day arrived for them to start, the staff were very polite and incredibly considerate of any mess unloading the yards of soil caused. The guys were machines, my back would have given out long before if I had tried to move the soil to my backyard. The quality of the topsoil was amazing as they used some for the planters we had wanted to start. We are now enjoying bumper crops of lettuce, tomatoes, blueberries and sugar snap peas as well as a plethora of spices. They even noticed some browning and slight depressions in my lawn. They filled those in and planted grass seeds! Most highly recommended!

We had Crocus in to quote on landscaping our back yard. My wife and I were very impressed right from the start. David was able to take the designers layout and make it come to life. The amount of care and forethought that went in to the project was tremendous. They foresaw a few challenges with the original design regarding drainage and came up with some solutions that fit right in. The staff were friendly and courteous. Crocus is great! The team is super nice, and David is very helpful. He gives great advice and helps you come down to earth if the inspo images are getting out of hand. We had our backyard completely redone by Crocus. Throughout the process, David and his team were incredibly responsive and helped us translate our ideas into a reality. They kept us informed and asked questions throughout to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

The end product is nearly perfect and made our backyard basically two additional rooms for the house (an outdoor lounge area and outdoor dining area).

Overall, I would highly recommend Crocus.

David, Peter and their team are amazing to work with. They transformed our front and back yards into beautiful spaces, with our backyard and deck now a true extension of our living space. They are incredibly diligent, responsive, knowledgeable, skilled, communicative, great problem-solvers, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Their crews are excellent, always on time, personable and do fantastic work. David is generous with his time and flexible, creative, and practical – working with us to adjust plans based on our budget and delivering on time on budget. We highly recommend Crocus Landscaping. Tim was very responsive and easy to discuss options for our yard. His crew led by Aaron was outstanding – professional, hard-working, and efficient. They did exactly what we wanted and did an awesome job with the bluestone walkway. And the cost was essentially the same as the quotation, so we couldn’t be more satisfied.

Thanks Crocus for giving us the best looking front yard on our block. We are sure it will add immensely to the value of our home given the impressive curb appeal vision you created. Their concept suggestion of forming free-standing stonework, natural granite columns and huge boulders, instead of formal stone and mortar so much better suits our west-coast environment. It forms a perfect terracing for the natural solid basalt live-edge rock stairway. We must also thank our site foreman, Aaron, for his artful mastery in selecting, rotating and delicate positioning of each individual boulder with a 12-ton backhoe. Also for moving our 16ft Palm tree, which has thankfully survived the trauma.

Your entire crew were so very friendly, accommodating and professional during this installation while still in the height of our COVID-19 challenges. We would both highly recommend Crocus Landscaping for any/all landscape design, installation and maintenance.
